As we’ve previously reported, Shamrock Highlands Thoroughbreds took an opportunity with Feasting to diversify our racing assets by moving into the breeding game. Armed with some impressive hypothetical readouts by a pairing with Maximum Security, Feasting was in foal with Maximum Security through an arrangement with Ashford Stud at Coolmore America, arguably North America’s premiere stud farm.
After in initial confirmation a few weeks ago, we are now proud to report that Feasting’s foal is now confirmed to be a colt! Feasting will continue her stay at War Horse Place in Lexington through the foaling process.
While Maximum Security needs no introduction for even those with casual knowledge in the Thoroughbred world, you can see his performances for yourself; the layman can get a sense of Max’s feats on his own wikipedia page, while more seasoned Race Horse enthusiasts can see his impressive detailed statistics on his Equibase profile.
Our filly comes from a proud line of her own (you can find out more on her page), and we’re excited to see what these two lineages will create as Shamrock Highlands Thoroughbreds grows in an exciting new direction in our very first year of partnership.
