Bill (Leonard) Storms
Read moreI was born in New York State in 1949, where my family had a working dairy farm. Around 1952, my folks purchased a farm in north central Pennsylvania, I was around 12 when I was given a 7 month old Tennessee walking horse colt. I ended up breaking him, with my father’s assistance. I had him for 23 years. Around 1960, my father started raising Appaloosa horses; he started with just a foundation stock stallion, and a couple mares.

Read moreI have loved horses for as long as I can remember. I first started riding when I was about 8 years old…on an old milk cow! I attended a horseback riding camp for several years where I honed my riding skills on the trails and learned the basics of horse care. I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian and work with horses, unfortunately life took me down a different path. In high school I continued to trail ride with a friend whenever I could.
